OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Nearly 50 artists from throughout the Midwest meet in Oshkosh on Sunday for a ‘People’s Choice’ art show.
The Altrusa International Club of Oshkosh hosted the 18th annual ‘Art in the Garden’ arts and Crafts show.

Participating artists, including some from local area high schools, could enter the contest with the original pieces on display at the event then being voted on by the public in attendance.
It takes months and months of planning, but when the day comes, it’s almost like a wedding. You’re preparing, and preparing, and now the days are here, and it’s a lot of fun, and the public comes in, and everyone is happy.

Event officials say some of the day’s proceeds go towards local nonprofits and programs that are focused on advancing literacy throughout northeast Wisconsin.
