IOWA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A deputy in southwestern Wisconsin caught a bear crossing a local County Highway on their dash cam on Sunday morning.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office posted the video on its Facebook page, along with a few reminders of what to do (and not to do) if any residents were in the same scenario.
Deputies say the bear was crossing CTH H at Roberts Road early Sunday morning.

“Please remember that bears are wildlife. There is no need to call 911 just because you see one. Leave them alone, keep your distance, and do not approach or feed them,” the post reads. “If a bear is behaving aggressively or poses an immediate threat, then call 911.”
