MARQUETTE, Mich. (WFRV) – The body of a 21-year-old who has been missing since he was last seen around February 22 in Marquette has been recovered.
According to the Marquette Police Department, the body of Trenton Massey was found submerged in the water of the Lower Harbor north of the Shiras Dock around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

According to the release, Trenton’s body was discovered by volunteers from Hybrid Robotics, which is an underwater ROV manufacturer out of Traverse City. Marquette County Sheriff’s Dive Team members recovered his body.
Officials had been searching along with numerous agencies and volunteers for the past two months, and his body was turned over to the UPHS-Marquette pending an autopsy.
Officials are still investigating.
