MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A construction worker is dead and one man is in custody following a hit-and-run incident Thursday night in Wisconsin.
According to a release from the Madison Police Department, a construction worker was hit and killed by a white van at 10:03 p.m. on US Highway 51.
Police say the van did not stop and continued heading south on the highway. Officers were able to find the suspect vehicle in a neighborhood on the southside of the city by utilizing traffic cameras.

Michael NL Martin was then arrested and booked into the Dane County Jail for Hit-and-Run involving death, with additional charges pending.
No other information is available at this time, and investigation by the Madison Police Department and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s office remains ongoing.
