The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
May the 4th be with you! Instead of staying inside and watching your favorite Star Wars movies, you might want to be outside to enjoy the warm day. The average high is 62 degrees, but we should be 10-15 degrees above normal this afternoon.
UPDATE: The Wisconsin DNR has placed many of our counties, north and west of the Fox Cities, in a VERY HIGH RISK for fire danger Monday and a HIGH RISK for the Fox Cities and lakeshore. As the relative humidity decreases on this warm day, the chance for brush and fallen leaves to catch fire easily goes up. If a fire starts, the wind will be strong to fan the flames and make it spread quickly as wind gusts approach 30 to 40 miles per hour at times.
The rain chance today is small, however, a broken line of showers may impact some of the area today from a cold front. Not everyone will see rain, but the afternoon could bring some isolated pop-up rain accompanied with gusty winds — we’ll be watching counties south of Green Bay for the greatest chance.
