WAUPACA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Waupaca say the Silver Alert for a missing 83-year-old man is canceled after the man was found safe.
83-year-old Theodore (Theo) Grey Nelsen had last been seen around 3:00 p.m., leaving from his South Appletree Lane home around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say he has since been found safe. No details were provided on exactly where he was found.

WAUPACA, Wis. (WFRV) – A Silver Alert was issued early Monday morning as deputies in Waupaca County are searching for a missing 83-year-old man.
According to a release, 83-year-old Theodore (Theo) Gray Nelsen was last seen around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, leaving his South Appletree Lane home on foot. Nelsen is believed by authorities to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He is said to be 5’10” and weighs about 185 pounds. Nelsen has brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and a green flannel shirt.
Anyone with information about Nelsen’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
