Two defining albums from the 1990s are returning in premium vinyl editions aimed at listeners who value detailed sound and carefully produced packaging. The newly announced releases bring Sheryl Crow’s 1996 self-titled album and Counting Crows’ 1993 debut, August and Everything After, into the Vinylphyle reissue series.
Release details confirm that both albums will arrive as deluxe two-record sets pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at RTI. The packages include gatefold jackets, archival sleeves, rare images, source-tape material and newly written liner notes.
Crow’s self-titled record includes songs such as If It Makes You Happy, Everyday Is a Winding Road and A Change Would Do You Good. The new edition marks the album’s first release on vinyl.
August and Everything After features Counting Crows favorites including Mr. Jones, Round Here and Rain King. Its edition was cut directly from the original analog master tapes, preserving the sound of the band’s breakthrough debut for a new pressing.
