Altrusa Art in the Garden

Altrusa International Club of Oshkosh invites you to our 18
th people’s choice Art in the Garden Art Show and Sale at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1355 
W 20th, Oshkosh, on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12. Admission is 
free with donations greatly appreciated. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
with awards presented at 4:00 p.m. Original work in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Tempera, Pastel, Pencil, Ink, 
Charcoal, Mixed Media, Carving, Photography, Pottery & Sculpture, Glass 
Art, Jewelry, Fiber and more will on be display.
Artists may enter up to 3 entries which are juried. Over 30 Midwest artists 
are vying for awards that the public will determine by their voting. 
Many of the artists will have vendor spaces with additional pieces of their 
work available for purchase.
In addition, there will be a special display of outstanding art by area high 
school students also vying for awards.
The general raffle prizes include 14K white gold diamond stud earrings 
from Reimer Jewelers; a concert ukelele built and donated from a friend of 
Altrusa; a Rose serving tray painted by a local artist and a Garden Stake 
from Artful Gifts; and $100 cash from West Pointe Bank. A special raffle 
features a wide variety of items donated by the artists, Friends of Altrusa
and local businesses.
Altrusa fundraising proceeds benefit literacy, local nonprofits and programs.
Altrusa is an international service organization with major focus on Literacy. 
The Oshkosh Club annually awards $7500 in scholarships to area
students.
