ELLSWORTH, Wis. (WFRV) – While it’s unclear whether it was trying to grab a pint or a book, a group of people in Wisconsin helped rescue a deer on Tuesday morning.
The Ellsworth Police Department said that a deer somehow became stuck in a railing between an old library and a bar on Tuesday morning.

Fortunately, local public works employees, two citizens and some police officers were able to help free the animal, as it safely ran away.
However, it wasn’t clear whether the deer was looking for a drink or something to read, or both.
No additional details were provided.
