The 91-year-old woman allegedly attempted to make a left turn onto Lawnsdale Road but crossed right into the path of the semi-truck, which hit the vehicle, causing that vehicle to push and crash into another vehicle stopped at the intersection.

The 91-year-old woman and her passenger, a 92-year-old man, were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi and of the third vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash caused the intersection to be closed for several hours. No other information is available as an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
