Delivery driver in Wisconsin has vehicle stolen while picking up an order, suspect arrested & charged

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A delivery driver in southern Wisconsin reportedly had his vehicle stolen while he was picking up an order.

According to the Madison Police Department, on February 28 around 8:15 p.m., a delivery driver’s vehicle was stolen. Police say that the driver flagged down an officer to report the theft.

It wasn’t until hours later that the suspect was stopped and taken into custody. 22-year-old Moustapha Gueye was arrested.

Court records show that Gueye has been charged with:

  • Bail Jumping
    • Felony
  • Operate Vehicle w/o Consent
    • Misdemeanor

Gueye had his signature bond set at $500 per case. He is scheduled to be in court on April 1 for a status conference.
