‘Extremely unsafe’: Vehicle in Wisconsin seen driving with a dresser held down by passenger, State Patrol issues reminder

(WFRV) – After a trooper saw a vehicle driving with a passenger holding a dresser on top of the car’s roof, the Wisconsin State Patrol issued a reminder about how unsafe things like this can be.

The Wisconsin State Patrol posted on its Facebook page about a recent incident where a vehicle was seen driving with someone holding a dresser on the top. A trooper was reportedly driving on the beltline near Madison when they came across the vehicle.

Authorities say that although the passenger was strong, it is unsafe to haul a dresser on the roof of a car without proper securement. The post said that after adjusting some items in the trunk, the dresser was able to fit inside.
