MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (WFRV) – A police department in southeastern Wisconsin released a statement after making four OWI arrests in a single day last Monday.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department posted a message on its Facebook page on May 27, saying officers arrested four drunken drivers the day before. “That’s four too many,” the post states.
No specific details about the arrests were provided, but officers provided the following statement:
“We’re out there every night to protect our roads and the people on them. If you’ve been drinking, don’t drive—call a friend, get a ride, stay safe.”
“Let’s all do our part,” the Mount Pleasant PD’s post concluded.
