Sunny and mild for the weekend

The Latest from Storm Team 5…

Its been another beautiful day across northeast Wisconsin as high pressure has been in firm control. Highs have returned to the mild category, into the upper 60s and low 70s…away from the water.

For tonight, the tail end of a cool front will drop in and most will see a few clouds stream by, but an isolated shower cant be ruled out. No frost issues tonight, with lows falling to around 50.

Tomorrow will be the cooler day of the upcoming weekend. Highs in the upper 60s and low 70s inland, around 60 lakeside under full sunshine. An east wind will be noticeable between 10-15mph.

Another day of full sunshine on Mother’s Day! Temperatures will get warmer into the middle to upper 70s, possibly closing in on 80 out west. Lakeshore temperatures will top the mid 60s.

The warm up doesn’t stop there! Temperatures away from the water will reach the lower 80s to begin the work week, but it will get a little muggy! A few pop up showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but a better chance for rain and a few thunderstorms arrives Thursday afternoon.
