OAK CREEK, Wis. (WTVO) — Buc-ee’s, The ever-popular Texas-born gas station chain, is coming to Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
The city announced the plan on Thursday, according to TMJ4.
The proposal comes after plans stalled to make a town near Madison the first area in Wisconsin to welcome the chain.
The new gas station plans to have a nearly 74,000 square ft. convenience store and fueling plaza, with 120 gas pumps and EV charging.

“We are thrilled to welcome Buc-ee’s to Oak Creek, as they choose our growing city for their first-completed store in Wisconsin along the critical I-94 corridor,” said Mayor Dan Bukiewicz. “This exciting development not only strengthens our position as a key hub for travelers but also brings new opportunities for local businesses and residents. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Buc-ee’s will have on our community.”
Buc-ee’s also plans to open in DeForest location as well. The location will likely attract around 100,000 visitors weekly.
Buc-ee’s has developed a reputation for its pristine restrooms and endless selection of snacks, drinks and novelty items,” according to the Austin Journal.
Buc-ees currently has 43 stores operating in Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
