CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Two Clintonville soldiers were honored with a community send-off as they prepared for deployment.
Darrel Hansen and Justin Geiger were escorted through town by the Clintonville Fire Department, with community members lining the streets to wave goodbye. The soldiers are expected to leave at the end of the month.
“We’re just here to show our support to them, saying, like, ‘You got this.’ I think that could actually help them,” said Cienna Kuhn, a Clintonville High School junior.
The escort began at the Clintonville High School football field and ended at the Fox Valley Technical College campus.
