Draft City Music Fest reveals schedule for Wednesday & Saturday at Leicht Park, De La Soul & Less Than Jake to headline

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – On Broadway, Inc. and the City of Green Bay have officially unveiled the musical guest lineup for the Draft City Music Fest on Wednesday, April 23, and Saturday, April 26.

The headliners for the event range from local and national acts, and from old school to modern performers. The headliners are hip-hop icons De La Soul and the iconic ska band Less Than Jake.

NFL Draft Site beginning in Green Bay, first of several closures set to begin March 29

The Draft City Music Fest will be held in Leicht Park in downtown Green Bay as part of the Wisconsin Public Service Draft Kickoff and 8th Round Downtown events.

The day before the first round is the WPS Foundation Draft Kickoff, with the set for 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. The following performers are the musical acts:

  • 4 p.m. – The Chocolateers
  • 5 p.m. – Grupo Kn Zavor
  • 6 p.m. – Luke Combs UK
  • 7:30 p.m. – Riverboat Gamblers
  • 9 p.m. – De La Soul

Saturday’s 8th Round Downtown will go from 5 p.m. until Midnight. The following musical guests will be there:

  • 5 p.m. – Hang Ten
  • 6 p.m. – Rebelmatic
  • 7 p.m. – J Roddy Walston
  • 8:30 p.m. – GZA (of WuTang Clan) with the Phunky Nomads
  • 10 p.m. – Less Than Jake

The activities are free, but VIP tickets are available for $35 for one day, and $60 for both days, which comes with up-close viewing and more opportunities.

The Draft City Music Fest also includes a fireworks display on Wednesday night and the Packers drum line as well. Saturday includes a Kids Zone, which will also be available on Wednesday.
