The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Not too bad of a day to start off this holiday weekend. Besides some morning and early PM clouds, highs today we right on target around our seasonal average in the mid 50s. For tonight, the weather stay quiet, just a few clouds and temperatures falling into the mid 430s, cooler around 30 up north.
Easter morning services or brunches will be dry with a mix of sun & clouds and temperatures running in the middle 30s. From there, the clouds will thicken up, but we stay rain free until the late afternoon and into the evening as rain showers move in. Highs tomorrow will be a touch cooler in the lower 50s, upper 40s lakeside. Easterly winds 10-15mph, a few gusts around 25mph.
Rain will continue overnight, and there could be a few rumbles of thunder in there as well containing some downpours. Winds will get stronger, gusting over 30mph. Scattered showers and wind will continue into Monday morning, with cloudy skies for the afternoon. Temperatures will only manage the middle 40s. Total rainfall amounts from Sunday into Monday will range from 1/2″ to over 1″ in a few spots.
More scattered showers for Tuesday, but dry conditions will return for Wednesday where highs will push 70 degrees! Looking ahead to the draft, we are gaining confidence that there will be some scattered showers for day one of the draft, but drier and brighter on day 2 and 3.
