MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – Police are investigating after one person in Wisconsin died on Tuesday afternoon from a fatal crash that caused a vehicle to burst into flames.
According to the Menomonee Falls Police Department, officers investigated a crash around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday where the vehicle involved left the road and hit a tree.
Driver accused of intentionally causing fatal motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac
The 2007 Toyota Corolla had one occupant, who was heading northbound on Lannon Road. The car was found in flames east of the road, and the Menomonee Falls Fire Department extinguished the fire.
The driver was found dead inside, and while speed may have been a factor, the full cause is still under investigation.
