OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – While the wildfires that devastated much of the Palisades in Los Angeles, California, have been contained, countless individuals need help as they rebuild their lives, and an Oshkosh restaurant is doing its part to help.
The Red Robin at 600 South Koeller Street in Oshkosh is partnering with the Salvation Army to donate a portion of its food sales to help those in need as thousands of homes were lost due to the wildfires.
“Monetary donations like this can be so many things,” Salvation Army Director of Disaster Services Benny Benedict said. “It can be rent assistance, food shelter and so many other things to help people get back on their feet.”
20% of food sales on Tuesday went to the Salvation Army Disaster Response: Love Beyond Wildfires, which is helping those who suffered from the devastating wildfires.
