The Weidner announces ‘artistic’ partnership to present classical music across Brown County

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Weidner announced a new partnership on Thursday, combining their performance arts history with the Brown County Civic Music Association.

The new partnership will celebrate music of all kinds, especially national and international classics, combining the two entities for performances in one space.

The Brown County Civic Music Association has performed concerts nationally and worldwide for nearly a century.

Brown County Civic Music Association president Laura Fisher-Bonvallet expressed her excitement for what she’s calling a new chapter.

“Our new partnership with the Weidner Center marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, with all performances now under one roof and a more enriching experience for our audiences,” Fisher-Bonvallet said in a release.

Kelli Strickland, the Weidner’s Executive and Artistic Director, also mentioned the history of the Brown County Civic Music Association.
