UW-Oshkosh baseball two wins away from DIII College World Series

(WFRV) – After taking home its 18th regional championship, the UW-Oshkosh baseball program is now just two wins away from making an appearance in the DIII College World Series.

The Titans will face conference foe UW-Whitewater in the Super Regionals with a chance to advance. UW-Oshkosh has faced the Warhawks six times already this season, but is just 1-5 against their WIAC rivals.

This will mark the first time that the Titans will make a Super Regional appearance since the tournament format was recently implemented within the last decade. In this best-of-three series against Whitewater, Oshkosh will be playing for its 18th appearance in the World Series and third national title (1985 & 1994).
