MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV)—In a post that garnered over 24,000 views in just over an hour, the Menasha Police Department reminded motorists to be safer while riding motorcycles.
The post includes a video of a motorcyclist they recently saw ‘zipping through traffic like he had a cape on.’

The video, which can be seen above, is from the Menasha Police Department and shows a motorist running a red light, popping a wheelie and immediately falling over in the middle of the intersection.
Fortunately, the man got out of the intersection before anything worse occurred.

“While we admire the enthusiasm, we genuinely care about your safety,” the post said.
“Speeding, weaving, and surprise lane changes might feel thrilling, but they also increase the chance of a crash that no one wants to see.”
The post said no ticket was given, but the post was a ‘check-in’ and it’s important to ride like somebody is waiting for you at home.
