PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (WFRV) – A daycare teacher in Wisconsin was arrested Friday for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to authorities, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force forwarded a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

Investigators identified Ryan C. Kruse, a 38-year-old from Port Washington, as the individual who allegedly possessed child sexual abuse material via online messaging applications.
Kruse was employed as a teacher at Forest Friends Learning Place in West Bend and previously worked at Tiny Sprouts Child Care Center in Port Washington.
On Monday, March 31, the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Kruse’s residence in the 2200 block of New Port Vista Drive in Port Washington. Investigators seized numerous electronic devices for forensic analysis.

Kruse is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on Tuesday, April 1.
The investigation remains ongoing.
