PORTAGE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 44-year-old Wisconsin man was taken into custody Monday following a lengthy investigation into the sale and distribution of methamphetamine.
According to a release, Jameel R. Yarber of Portage was arrested after investigators determined he was in violation of his felony bond for methamphetamine possession in Dodge County.

Authorities said Yarber was found in possession of a handgun and cocaine at the time of his arrest.
Yarber faces multiple charges, including:
- Three counts of delivery of methamphetamine
- Three counts of possession with intent to deliver at or near certain places
- Two counts of felony bail jumping
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia

He is scheduled to make his initial court appearance Friday.
The Portage Police Department was assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office.
