MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 34-year-old Wisconsin man was sentenced on Tuesday by Chief United States District Judge James D. Peterson to 7.5 years in prison for methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute.

In April 2024, authorities used a confidential informant who performed two controlled buys of meth from Anderson. Law enforcement searched his home after the controlled purchases, seizing over 200 grams of prepackaged meth for distribution.

While Judge Peterson emphasized his criminal history and serious crime, the sentence was weighed with a difficult upbringing and struggles during Anderson’s life.
