After firefighters were able to get the situation under control, they found one 20-pound and one 100-pound propane tank damaged by extreme heat and slowly leaking.
The Green Bay HAZMAT team arrived to assist with the venting of the tanks to mitigate any potential danger from the damaged high-pressure tanks. Air quality readings were also monitored during operations.
The total estimated damage is around $70,000. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters, and the cause remains under investigation.
