Another beautiful day today

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

After a summer-like day yesterday with highs in the 70s and even 80s, another beautiful day is on tap for today. Expect lots of sunshine all day long thanks to high pressure, with highs reaching the mid-60s.

Into tonight, we stay mostly clear and mild. Low temperature will remain above average at 45 degrees.

Our quiet weather pattern changes again late tomorrow evening.

Low pressure to our southwest now will start to push more cloud cover in to begin the day. The morning is quiet tomorrow with partly cloudy skies, and a majority of the afternoon is quiet with maybe the chance for an isolated sprinkle.

Around dinner time tomorrow night is when things start to turn rainy. Expect strong showers and t-storms to build in by bedtime tomorrow night and pretty much continue until late Wednesday night.

These storms will be strong bringing widespread severe weather for most of the Midwest tomorrow stretching up towards southern Wisconsin.

As of now, the severe weather outlook stays out of our area, so it’s unlikely we’ll be in a tornado risk, but gusty winds, thunderstorms, and heavy downpours are likely for us.
