Man arrested after he “threatens to kill complainant” during domestic disturbance in Waushara County

WAUTOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Waushara County say one man was arrested after threatening to kill a complainant during a domestic disturbance.

According to a release from the Wautoma Police Department, officers responded at 7:23 Wednesday morning to a reported domestic dispute on the 400 block of West Grove Street.

Police say they arrived on scene and were able to make contact with 26-year-old Marquise Williams who then threatened to kill the complainant.

Officers were able to arrest Williams and recover a pistol that was inside a bag he had in his possession. Due to being previously convicted of a felony in Cook County Illinois, he is not able to legally buy or possess a firearm.

As a result of the incident, Williams was taken to the Waushara County Jail where charges of Possession of a Weapon as a Felon, Disorderly Conduct with Domestic Enhancer, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been referred to the Waushara County District Attorney’s Office.
