Senator Tammy Baldwin stops in Appleton as part of her Dairyland Tour

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV)—Senator Tammy Baldwin was in Appleton on Wednesday as part of her Dairyland Tour.

She took a tour of the building and talked to workers about their concerns and hopes for the state. Baldwin is currently trying to pass a bill that would require online retailers to say where their product was made to avoid overseas sites from lying to customers, a problem Benshot has been tackling.

“If you’re marketing something online, you need to tell folks where it was made so that those like me who want to buy American can do so,” Baldwin said.

She continued to talk about trying to shrink inflation and lower the costs of healthcare.
