Wisconsin man arrested after trying to enter vehicles outside Manitowoc County business

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – A 24-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested Wednesday morning after officers found him attempting to enter vehicles outside a Manitowoc County business.

According to the Two Rivers Police Department, officers were sent to the 1800 block of School Street at 8:15 a.m. on April 17 for a report of a man attempting to enter vehicles.

Based on the information given by a witness, Two Rivers Police officers responded to the 2100 block of Washington Street, where they found Tyler Yoder, 24, inside a local business.

Yoder reportedly became combative with officers before he was apprehended and arrested for operating while under the influence. Additional charges, such as resisting an officer, bail jumping, and operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, will be forwarded to the Manitowoc County District Attorney’s Office.

Through further investigation into Yoder, Two Rivers Police determined Yoder was the primary suspect of a stolen vehicle and burglary to a business in Brown County. Yoder was then transported to the Brown County Jail, facing separate charges.

“We would like to thank the observant witness, our Joint Dispatch Center, and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the matter,” stated Detective Lieutenant Jacob Glaser of the Two Rivers Police Department.
